Still...exam mood...

The recent weather provides me the urge to blog, albeit the heavy schoolwork and examination.

I’ve just finished my weekly taekwondo training, and promise myself to clear up the pile of books and notes before this coming Monday, when the next round of examination falls on.

Feeling fresh after a tired training in a cold raining weather. Hopefully I’m able to speed up my progress for the exam preparation with a fresher mind.

A busy life will most likely be the source of complaints for majority of the people. However, when you look at it from a positive side, a busy life gets you move on and make your life more fulfilling, filling it with excitement and joy. (with the condition to be busy in a correct manner)Personally, I feel that, I, as a young people who reaches his peak age of his life, should try and explore whatever possible things that I can, making the best out of myself, and leaving a wonderful memory in my life when I am old enough to reflect the time when I was young.

Looking at the calendar in front of me, I’ve just realized another month is going to end soon. I promise myself to appreciate the last few days of October before November knocks on my door. And the final exam timetable tells me that this challenging yet wonderful semester will be coming to an end. Hopefully, it ends fruitfully with a positive outcome.

Time and tide wait for no man. I’ve still one and a half more years to go by the end of this semester. Just couldn’t believe that I’ve been here for two and a half years already!

Ok, time for my dinner. Looking forward to be here next time!

All the best to all the readers!

On examination mood

Well, I’m here to blog again. (instead of using this time to check facebook)

It has been raining for the past few days, offering me a nice weather to work and to sleep. I like rainy season, just simply because I feel fresh when doing my school work, and it makes my bed a little cooler when I am about to sleep.

I have just completed a test just an hour ago. All I can say is that, I’ve prepared well for it, but, something goes wrong during the exam. I was a bit nervous when looking at the first question and was being stuck there for the first half an hour, where the overall duration of the test is only one hour. Well, luckily, I were able to finish it on time but later on, I had made a huge mistake on the question where I had spent the most time. I had told myself repetitively that this test is going to be time-limiting, and I need to be fast enough to be able to complete it. Somehow I just could not have a good start feeling when the test began. Two days more and I will have another test. This week is going to be an exam-marathon week.

Ok, enough for the test!

Have been listening to friends discussing about the movie “Real Steel”. So far all are positive reviews. Gonna give it a try by next week. After all, a movie as a reward for my hard work on the exam is never too much.

That’s all for now.

Ciao! =D

The day before Hari Deepavali

I’m going to stay up for the whole night today, partly due to the fact that tomorrow is a public holiday (Hari Deepavali), and mainly due to the coming examination on Thursday.

I have always told myself trying to consistently update myself through blog. Honestly, it’s always been a great time when reading my friends’ blog, knowing their most recent updates, and learning about the fun and excitement they are having in their universities life. I hope that my friends will feel the same when reading mine. But sorry to say that, a bit of laziness plus hectic life, I choose to sleep when I’m free instead of blogging. Not a good excuse, I know.

Currently I’m in the middle way of my Year 3 Semester 1. This semester is a bit special to me. I’ve experienced all the “four seasons” throughout this semester. It’s full of ups and downs. A challenging semester, to be precise. If I have the time, I will illustrate everything in detail for this semester.

I’m glad to tell you guys (those who are reading this blog) that I’ll be doing my industrial attachment in Exxonmobil in the coming semester (6 months long). I’m always looking forward to start the next semester, impatiently to get out of a study environment and join the working environment. As a chemical engineer, I believe that I could have translated the theories that I’ve learnt into real life application when working in this company. I’m going to be part of the ACAP/PCG department staff and learn about the design and optimization of chemical plant, together with studying the economic analysis in oil and gas industry.

And recently just get to know some of my old friends have graduated, while a few are also graduating soon. Some have also had their own planning to realize their dream job. Some just came back from India after 3 years of hard work to pursue their doctor dreams, and they’re going to continue it in the beloved hometown for another 2 years to complete their degree. And I’m happy to hear that they are doing fine when contacting with them through phone. I wish you guys all the best in your future, and will try to catch up with you all in the next gathering!

Going to turn into mugging mode soon. I’ll try to update myself as frequent as possible. I TRY! =D

Night peeps!

Confidence

A sudden urge to blog hit my mind.

From my last post, I realized that it’s been a year ago since my last update. In fact, I have lost my blogging habit long ago. Strange enough, while surfing the net aimlessly today, I am brought to here.

Currently it’s my academic year break- 3 months long. To update myself a bit, I’m doing internship in a company and doing research for these 3 months.

Emo, emo and emo. I don’t know why. I just feel that I have lost my confidence which I possessed back in secondary school time. Take an example, whenever I am desire to carry out something new in my research, a sudden thought will always pop out, telling me that it might be fail, putting my effort worthless. I start to realize that I am afraid of failure, and I just don’t dare to try out furthermore.

Maybe there’re several reasons behind this scenario. My supervisor has always explained something to me in a different level- making me spin and spin around without knowing what is she trying to say. The knowledge required for the research project has indeed beyond my knowledge boundary, and I sometimes really struggle to understand her by searching all kinds of stuffs through whatever means I can resort to. Sometimes when I try to ask her about what is the thing she mentioned, she will just show some face expressions, and emphasize that I should have learnt this and that before.

Until very recent, about two days ago, I realized that sometimes it’s hard for me to express myself in a clear and precise manner. I may have to take 3 mins to explain something which a normal person will only need a minute, or even less than that. It seems that something strange happens on me, and I always ask myself, is it mental retardation? >< (Hopefully it’s not)

And many things are queuing up outside the door of my brain at this moment, making me feel the “stress” even though I should be enjoying myself during my vacation. My future curriculum schedule, future industrial attachment company, the fear of facing hectic uni life ahead, future career, and bla bla bla….I will always tell myself not to worry too much about my own future. I don’t have a crystal ball. My future is always an unknown. Nevertheless, I have fallen into this state (thinking too much). Is it because of my greatly reduced confidence? Or perhaps I have nothing much to think during the vacation? I really don’t know what’s wrong with me.

I just need back my confidence. For me, doing something without confidence equals to failure. I must find back the confidence that I had lost.

KH

I recalled that I took this subject during my secondary lower form, and it was the subject that had the most projects among others. Although the theoretical parts are quite boring, when comes to the practical part, somehow it can be considered a little more interesting.

It is Kemahiran Hidup, which we usually call it “KH” for short. In Form One, I remembered that the class was divided into two groups for this subject, and I was in the group led by a Malay teacher, En. Asraf (if I’m not mistaken) It was the time for me to get closer to other classmates whenever there was KH period, for the size of class was halved and it was easier to mingle around with them, especially those with their names started with the alphabets M to Z since the group was formed according to the first alphabet letter of our names.

Having lesson in a smaller class is nice as teacher could pay more attention to us and each and everyone in the class will be easier to recognize.

Sometimes when the textbook was too boring to make everyone of us start yawning, our teacher would share some “nice” stories to keep us awake. Asraf is somehow deep in my memory for his stories that always made the class burst into laughter. One story which was still fresh in my mind goes, “There is a young man who is always being disturbed by a ghost. The ghost’s way of disturbing him is kind of funny, that is, to ask this young man gives him something to do. The ghost will come to disturb him after finishing the tasks that the man has given to him. And so the young man asks the ghost help cleans his house, washes this and that, bla bla bla…. But the ghost finishes the tasks very quickly and keeps on disturbing him. And so the young man breaks his head to think what’s more can be done every night so as to stay away from the ghost. At last, he gives the ghost a “curly hair” from his private part, and asks the ghost to straighten it. It is then he frees himself from the disturbance.

In Form Two and Form Three, I still miss those days when the whole class was sawing wood together, knitting, painting our little music box and soldering the circuit board (which I hate the most as every time after finish joining all the components, it just couldn’t work =.=)

For the projects and folios of this subject, I actually forget where they have gone until today when I discovered them in my drawers. They have brought me to the old memories, which are not normal, but great and sweet memories.

I miss those days……..

I couldn't remember what name for this way of sewing...

Now if you ask me to do it again, I have just no idea....=.=

You can see why I hate this the most.

And last but not least, I found this! Bangga! XD

智慧牙@。@
